A comprehensive eye examination will determine
your visual needs and provide the clearest, most comfortable vision
correction.
The health of
your eyes will be evaluated including testing for glaucoma, cataracts, retinal and macular
disease. Optomap Retinal Imaging is as simple as a photograph without
leaving your eyes blurred. Pupil dilation may be indicated.
When
necessary, medication is prescribed for treatment of eye disease. |

Dr. John DeCarlo has been in
practice38 years. He is a licensed Doctor of Optometry, and
is certified in Diagnostic, Therapeutic, and Advanced Therapeutic
Practice. He is a member of the American Optometric
Association, the American Public Health Association, the New England
Council of Optometry, the Connecticut Association of Optometrists,
and Eye Care Professionals of Connecticut. He attended LaSalle
University in Philadelphia, and Illinois College of Optometry in
Chicago, earning Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Doctor of
Optometry degrees. He has served as the Clinical Director of
the Connecticut Visual Health Center, and sits on the Board of
Directors of IDOC, LLC, (Independent Doctors of Optometric Care).

Dr. Robert Maiolo has
been in practice 34 years. He is a licensed Doctor of Optometry,
and is certified in Diagnostic, Therapeutic, and Advanced
Therapeutic Practice. He has been a National Board Examiner, staff
member of St. Mary's and Kaiser Permanente Hospitals in San
Francisco, Clinical Director of TLC Lasik Center and currently on
the Board of Directors of ODG, the largest contact lens
distribution company in the nation. His specialties include
fitting of contact lenses for diseased and post surgical
conditions.
